ISO 11354

Name:
Requirements for establishing manufacturing enterprise process interoperability
S&P Type:
Methodology
Model - Ontology - Taxonomy
Referent type:
Standardization body
Referent:
ISO SC5

This standard is an CEN/ISO NWI that specifies requirements for interoperation both within and between
operational environments of manufacturing enterprises.
It defines an interoperability framework and specifies requirements for processes and underpinning metadata that must be in place to establish solutions to various concerns of interoperability (business, processes, services,
data).
It describes the particular requirements of different types of environments (unified, integrated, and federated).

Industrial automation systems and integration—Integration of life-cycle data for process plants including oil and gas production facilities
S&P Type:
Language
Model - Ontology - Taxonomy
Referent type:
Standardization body
Referent:
ISO

This ISO standard addresses data integration, sharing, exchange, and hand-over between computer systems.
Its purpose is to facilitate integration of data to support the lifecycle activities and processes of production facilities by developping a generic data model and reference data library for process plants.

It currently (may 2009) includes the following parts:

  • Part 3: Reference data for geometry and topology

Qualité des données

Data cleansing or data scrubbing is the act of detecting and correcting (or removing) corrupt or inaccurate records from a record set, table, or database. Used mainly in databases, the term refers to identifying incomplete, incorrect, inaccurate, irrelevant etc. parts of the data and then replacing, modifying or deleting this dirty data.

Data Cleansing

Data cleansing or data scrubbing is the act of detecting and correcting (or removing) corrupt or inaccurate records from a record set, table, or database. Used mainly in databases, the term refers to identifying incomplete, incorrect, inaccurate, irrelevant etc. parts of the data and then replacing, modifying or deleting this dirty data. After cleansing, a data set will be consistent with other similar data sets in the system.

WBF Releases New Integrated Version of B2MML and BatchML

Version V0401 integrates support for ISA88 and ISA95 into a single standard providing support for general recipes
Research Triangle Park, NC (26 November 2008) — WBF, the Forum for Automation and Manufacturing Professionals today announced the release of Version V0401 of B2MML and BatchML, which combines the two markup languages into a single related set of standards useful to the general process industries.

XML

Name:
Extensible Markup Language
Referent:
W3C

A cornerstone of the UN/CEFACT standardisation acitivites is the Core Component Technical Specification (CCTS). Core Components are the syntax-neutral and technology-independent building blocks that can be used for data modeling. Major benefits of CCTS include improved reuse of existing data artifacts, improved enterprise interoperability, and consistency across vertical industry standards

XML Schema

S&P Type:

Referent:
W3C

XML Schema, published as a W3C recommendation in May 2001, is one of several XML schema languages. It was the first separate schema language for XML to achieve Recommendation status by the W3C. Like all XML schema languages, XML Schema can be used to express a schema: a set of rules to which an XML document must conform in order to be considered 'valid' according to that schema. However, unlike most other schema languages, XML Schema was also designed with the intent that determination of a document's validity would produce a collection of information adhering to specific data types.

The Extensible Markup Language (XML) is a general-purpose specification for creating custom markup languages.[1] It is classified as an extensible language, because it allows the user to define the mark-up elements. XML's purpose is to aid information systems in sharing structured data, especially via the Internet, [2] to encode documents, and to serialize data; in the last context, it compares with text-based serialization languages such as JSON and YAML.
